Plan the fit between Dogfight Dynamics structure and common DCS controls, panels, displays, seats, and 40-series chassis before you order.
Compatibility first
Dogfight Dynamics cockpit hardware is designed as the full-scale physical environment around your DCS controls—not as a closed electronics ecosystem.
Compatibility still depends on exact models and revisions. Use this guide to establish a known fitment path, then send us your equipment list when mixing brands, using older hardware, or planning a complete system.
01 / Start with structure
Fit the cockpit around the pilot and the controls.
The most reliable build sequence is structural: confirm the room, select the chassis or adapter path, establish the seat and primary control position, then finalize panels and displays.

Measure the room. Allow for entry, seat travel, display distance, computer access, and cable routing.

List exact models. “Winwing throttle” is not enough; Taurus and Orion 2 require different left-console top plates.

Choose the visual system. VR, instrument displays, and external monitors affect mounting and sightlines.

Confirm revisions. Manufacturers can update dimensions. We verify unusual or mixed setups before fabrication.

03 / Controls and chassis
Complete the physical ecosystem.
Stick, throttle, and pedals
The ejection-seat and chassis environment supports common controls from Winwing, Thrustmaster, Virpil, and VKB. Exact stick extension, throttle plate, pedal position, and cable access still need to be planned as a system.
Known control fitment
Winwing Super Libra, Orion, and Orion 2; Thrustmaster Warthog; Virpil; VKB; and the Total Controls ejection handle are supported in documented configurations.
40-series chassis integration
The 500 mm adapter path supports the Dogfight Dynamics Flight Chassis and documented platforms including the Sim-Lab GT1 Evo, Advanced SimRacing ASR 4 Open Face Gen2, and Trak Racer TR160 Mk4.
DCS integration
Dogfight Dynamics supplies physical cockpit hardware. Control binding, display export, interface software, and firmware requirements depend on the electronics you select. A turn-key commission can include this configuration and verification.

DCS compatibility questions.
Does Dogfight Dynamics hardware connect directly to DCS?
The cockpit products provide the physical structure and replica environment. Electronic controls connect through their own USB interfaces, firmware, and software. DCS binding and display export depend on the selected hardware; turn-key commissions can include configuration and testing.
Which left-console top plate should I select?
Select the plate that matches your exact throttle: Winwing Taurus, Taurus throttle only, Orion 2, or Thrustmaster Warthog. You can also choose the appropriate PCFlights or TekCreations panel layout.
Does the right console need a top-plate selection?
No. The right console uses one interchangeable layout for the supported PCFlights and TekCreations controls.
What should I do if my hardware is not listed?
Contact Dogfight Dynamics with the manufacturer, exact model, revision, and photos. We will determine whether the standard fitment works, an adapter is available, or custom planning is required.
